As much as we want to get out, get on a plane and travel someplace warm and sunny to be greeted with tropical cocktails, unfortunately, I don’t think that will be happening any time soon. So, we need the next best thing, we need to bring the vacation to us. One of my favorite ways to get in the tropical spirit is to enjoy a delicious tropical cocktail.
This simple strawberry pineapple drink recipe takes little time to perfect and screams summer! This is actually my favorite easy to make recipe in bulk. You can make a huge jug of this recipe, perfect for a day on the deck or bbq.
Grab your lounge chair, turn on some music and lay back while you enjoy this fun and fruity alcoholic drink.
Pineapple strawberry cocktail
Serves: 4 8oz glasses
Time: 10 min
Ingredients:
1 fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
8 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
8 oz pineapple juice
4 oz light rum
4 oz pineapple vodka
8 oz club soda
Directions:
For each cocktail, add all liquors and juice in a large pitcher.
Stir to combine.
Fill your glass 1/2 way with ice.
Add your strawberries and pineapples to each glass.
Stir to mix.
Pour your liquor mix into each glass.
Top with club soda.
Garnish with pineapple wedges, and mint if desired.
